Trash Pandas Get Clonked by Sea Dogs, 5-3
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Maine Sea Dogs and Watford City Trash Pandas.
Maine pitcher Haden Manning had a large part in his team beating the Watford City Trash Pandas, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Tommy Woods collected save number 12.
Left Fielder Joseph MacFadden made an impact for Maine, when he swatted a 2-run double off Jorge Gonzáles in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, MacFadden was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"It never gets old," said MacFadden. "Winning, that is."
The Sea Dogs, at 53-42, have now won 4 straight.
