Warheads Edge Past Crush, 5-4

The Amarillo Warheads needed 10 innings to defeat the Flint Crush, 5-4, at Ballpark of Henderson. Amarillo left fielder Neil Rogers had a superb performance. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Amarillo raised its record to 50-45 with the win.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Amarillo. That's when Lee Spencer, who is tied for 4th in the SA- in stolen bases with 13, hit a run-scoring double off Greg Bradford to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Rogers said.
