Starting pitcher José Delgado was a major factor in the 5-2 Capital Hill Interns triumph over the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople. Picking up his 4th save was 18-year old right-handed pitcher Pedro Puglisi. The Interns are now 12-15, while the Snowpeople fall to 6-21.

Rafael Lerma had a big solo home run for the Interns in the top of the sixth inning. With Capital Hill leading 3-2 and the bases empty, he sized up a splitter from 19-year old left-handed pitcher Louis Barberi and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Interns on top, 4-2.

"José is a gamer," said Capital Hill manager Evan Groenevelt.
