Big Day for Serrano in 10-4 Lighthouse Win
The timely hitting of Jesús Serrano helped the Long Island Lighthouse down the Montana Pandas, 10-4. Serrano belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Lighthouse. Jeff Tate, the winner, goes to 9-1. He allowed 4 runs on 11 hits, with 2 walks and 10 strikeouts over 6.1 innings. The Lighthouse have an impressive 29-16 record.

Serrano made an early impact for Long Island when he stroked his 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Lighthouse on top, 4-0.

"Jesús leaves the last at-bat behind him, whether it was good or bad, and goes up there and competes on every pitch," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito.
