The Hudsonville Flanderses and starting pitcher Gary Dyer stifled the Beaumont offense en route to a comfortable 8-1 win at The Target. The second-place Crossbeaus have lost 4 straight games.

The Crossbeaus had little chance against Dyer, who overpowered Beaumont hitters and struck out 11.

"Gary was able to execute his pitches," said Hudsonville manager Teika Suto. "Simple as that."
