The Capital Hill Interns racked up a win at Alouettes Ballpark, bumping off the Greenport Harbor Whales, 7-2. Pedro Rodríguez, who started for Capital Hill, pitched effectively for his team. Rodríguez, now 3-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. The 9th-place Interns have won 4 straight.
Capital Hill took a 4-2 lead on Raúl Migoya's 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Migoya hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Greenport pitcher Alfonso Velásquez visibly frustrated.
