The Long Island Ducks had to overcome a good performance from Ballard pitcher Steven Harden to claim a 3-2 win at Ducks Park. Harden went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Seung Pak earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 1-2. Long Island raised its record to 18-11 with the win.

Bill Vázquez was the walk-off hero for Long Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ducks first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was jumping at the end," Vázquez said.
