Greenport Harbor Whales pitcher Gerald Tate was in top form, leading his team past the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 7-1. James O'Connor, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. The Harbor Whales, at 18-11, lead by one game in their division.

António Medina delivered a big hit for Greenport. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Harbor Whales ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
