Ellesmere Island hurler Ernest Pollard put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Quebec City Baby Blues with a 7-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 6 hits with 10 strikeouts and 2 walks to pick up the win.
"I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Quebec City manager Mauro Rangel told reporters after the game.
