Angel Kitties Deal Harbor Whales Painful Loss
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Bethlehem Angel Kitties and the Greenport Harbor Whales, Ed Lemay, the 3rd overall pick in the 2061 draft, was the difference-maker. The Bethlehem right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Bethlehem bumps their record to 11-19 with the win.
Carlos Dávila was the walk-off hero for Bethlehem. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Angel Kitties center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"What a buzz," said Dávila after it was over.
