Baby Blues Win Nail-Biter

The Quebec City Baby Blues relied on a great performance from Jim Hunter, who leads the 3A- in quality starts with 6, to beat the Greenport Harbor Whales, 1-0, in 10 innings at Dylan Park. Hunter got the win, improving to 3-3. He gave up no hits and walked 2 over 10 innings. He allowed no runs. Quebec City, at 15-15, occupies 7th place in the Menard's Low A.
The Baby Blues got a clutch hit from designated hitter Grease Zerk. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Baby Blues.
"Jim really held it together well," said Quebec City manager Andrés Ventura.
