Snowpeople Earn Win with Late Rally
Ballard got a terrific performance from pitcher Jeremy Foster, but it wasn't enough to beat the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople. Ellesmere Island won the The Igloo contest, 3-2. Foster threw 8.0 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. The Snowpeople raised their record to 8-23.

The Snowpeople got a clutch hit from third baseman Andrew Watkins. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Snowpeople.

"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Watkins.
