Rory Carr did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Greenport Harbor Whales from being beaten, 7-6, to the Quebec City Baby Blues at Ballpark of Robbins. Carr went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. José Tobías earned save number 1 this season. Quebec City has a record of 14-18, placing them 10th in the Menard's Low A.

Tied up with the Harbor Whales in the top of the fourth inning, the Baby Blues got a boost from shortstop Owen Walls. With the bases loaded, Walls saw a 2-1 fastball from Simon Meilaart and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Quebec City on top, 4-3.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Walls, "but we got it done."
