Roy Hill made an impact in the 10-6 Ballard win over Capital Hill. Hill, who is tied for 6th in the 3A- with a .537 slugging percentage, went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Alonso Forado, now 2-0, was credited with the win in 3.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. The Beavers win now puts them at 19-13.

Hill contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Ballard in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 4-3, Hill took a slider from Jorge Santana and stroked the home run to left-center. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Beavers to leap in front, 7-4.

"We're trying to go out there and win games," Hill told the Ballard Chronicle, "and we played pretty well tonight."
