Ballard got a first-rate effort from pitcher Avery Finley, who frustrated Ellesmere Island hitters en route to a 3-0 Beavers triumph at The Igloo. The save went to Ron Inostraza, his 2nd this season. Ballard sits in third place in the Menard's Low A at 20-13.

Finley, now 4-1, scattered 4 hits over 7.1 innings for the Beavers.

"Avery was really on it," said Ballard manager JoJo Victory. "He's got a feel for playing with the hitter front-to-back, side-to-side."
