Gators Drop Baby Blues, 4-3
|
The North Ft. Myers Gators picked up a win at Dodge Field, dropping the Quebec City Baby Blues, 4-3. Tom Horton, who is rated as the 26th best prospect by BNN, was the difference-maker. Horton got the win, improving to 2-1. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Jeffrey White earned the save, his 1st.
The Gators got a big at-bat from designated hitter Robert Graham. For the game, Graham was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave North Ft. Myers a 3-0 lead.
"When Tom's on, he's on," said North Ft. Myers manager Felipe Palazzola.
Quebec City has now lost 5 straight.
