The Napanee Express knocked off the Greenport Harbor Whales, 4-1, in M3L Low A action at Paints Ballpark. Napanee pitcher and Shirley, New York, native Jimmy Jeffries had an outstanding performance. Boryenka Ahmadishin nailed down his 6th save. The current losing streak for Greenport has reached 4 games.

The Harbor Whales had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Express going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old catcher Tasuku Endo came to the plate. Endo hit a run-scoring double on a 1-2 cutter from Greenport hurler John McCall. It was Endo's 4th double of the year.
