Ballard got a first-rate effort from pitcher Ron Inostraza, who frustrated Greenport hitters en route to a 2-0 Beavers triumph at The Beaver Dam. Jesse Seals closed it out for Ballard, earning his 7th save. The 4th-place Beavers improved to 22-14.

Inostraza ran roughshod over the Greenport lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 6. With the victory, he goes to 3-2 on the season.

"Getting the win feels nice," said Inostraza. "More importantly, I had a good game."
