Long Island first baseman Jesús Serrano played a vital role in his team's 4-3 conquest of Ft. Worth. He went 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Long Island. Larry Alexander collected his 13th save. The Lighthouse have an impressive 30-17 record.

Serrano had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-1 forkball from Martin Luther, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Lighthouse a 4-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Serrano.

"It never gets old," said Serrano. "Winning, that is."
