Bartolo Moreno did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Napanee Express an extra-inning, 7-6 loss to the Flint Crush at Flint Park. Moreno went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Flint pitcher Greg Bradford got the win. He's now 2-0. Eugene Brown was tagged with the loss. The losing skid has reached 7 games for Napanee.

The Crush got a clutch hit from second baseman César Velázquez. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Crush.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Flint field general Michael Woodard.
