The Long Island Ducks took on the Ogallala Octopi at Ducks Park.

Getting a good performance from catcher Kernie LeBlanc, the Long Island Ducks defeated the Ogallala Octopi, 6-3. LeBlanc went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Ducks. The setback makes Ogallala 17-22.

LeBlanc came through for Long Island with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. He hit a first pitch fastball to right field, staking his team to a 2-0 lead.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," LeBlanc told the Long Island Today.
