Santana Now 3-3 After Beating Snowpeople
|
Capital Hill turned a good performance from starting pitcher Jorge Santana into a 3-0 triumph over the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople at Alouettes Ballpark. Ed Cook picked up the save, his 7th. Today's win puts Capital Hill at 16-26, while Ellesmere Island falls to 20-22.
Santana gave Capital Hill a first-rate performance. The 6-foot-2 right-hander permitted no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.
"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Santana. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
