Interns Rally to Win
The Capital Hill Interns did just enough to nip the Quebec City Baby Blues, 3-2, in 10 innings. Capital Hill pitcher Francisco Torres, in particular, had a standout performance. The save was credited to Pedro Rodríguez, his 1st. The setback makes Quebec City 22-22.

Capital Hill used a timely hit from Don Reynolds to get the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Interns ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"I think we all put in a good day's work," said Torres.
