Bethlehem and Napanee got after it at Paints Ballpark.
Bethlehem Angel Kitties starter Flip Boele had all his pitches working at Paints Ballpark. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 9-2 Bethlehem win over the Napanee Express. The winning pitcher was Boele, now 2-2. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6.
With two out in the top of the third, Carlos Dávila put Bethlehem in front, 3-0, with a 2-run single. The Angel Kitties went on to win the ballgame.
"Winning never gets dull," said Dávila.
Bethlehem is now 19-25, Napanee 26-18.
