Harbor Whales Earn Win with Late Rally
The Greenport Harbor Whales beat the Napanee Express, 4-3 -- though it took them 10 innings. Greenport shortstop Iwane Tanaka had a pretty good game. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the win, Greenport pushed its record to 23-21.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Express allowed the Harbor Whales to score the winning run.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Greenport field general Mike Brown.
