The Long Island Ducks knocked off the Moose Jaw Canucks, 8-2, at Ducks Park. Juan Pérez hit 1 single and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. Long Island reliever Cheol-han Ho got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Andrés Cantú was tagged with the loss.

With Long Island leading 5-2 in the bottom of the eighth, Pérez hit a splitter from Andrés Domínguez for a bases-clearing double. It was his 12th double of the season and put the Ducks ahead, 8-2.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Mark Wofford.

The Ducks have an impressive 30-15 record.
