|
The Flint Crush picked up a win at Dodge Field, knocking off the North Ft. Myers Gators, 5-1. On the mound for Flint was left-hander Armando Guzmán. He played a key role in the triumph. Ken Leach finished to wrap up his 13th save. Flint is now 30-15, North Ft. Myers 21-24.
Ed Harris, who is tied for 6th in the 3A- in home runs with 8, contributed to the Flint win with a grand slam home run in the top of the second. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
"We had a good game plan," Guzmán said, "and we were able to execute it."
