Big Day for Giles in 7-1 Baby Blues Win
The Quebec City Baby Blues defeated the North Ft. Myers Gators, 7-1, at Dodge Field. Quebec City first baseman Lance Giles had a superb performance. He went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ricardo Arroyo was the winner. He's now 1-1. The loser was Art Lamplighter. With the victory, the Baby Blues upped their record to 24-22.

Quebec City used a clutch at-bat from Yoshimi Sato to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I'm a bit of a clubhouse prankster," said Giles. "But it's all business when we're on the field."
