The Greenport Harbor Whales and starting pitcher Dan McFarland stifled the Moose Jaw offense en route to a comfortable 11-2 win at Ballpark of Robbins. The winner was McFarland. He threw 8.2 innings of 7-hit ball. The loser was Gerald Tate. At 24-22, the Harbor Whales find themselves in 6th place in the Menard's Low A.

The Harbor Whales got a big hit from center fielder Leonard Kawhi. Facing Moose Jaw pitcher Gerald Tate in the bottom of the sixth, Kawhi pounded a 2-run triple to right-center. His 2nd triple of the season put the Harbor Whales ahead, 4-0.

In postgame comments to the Greenport Observer, McFarland said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
