Abe Leads Ducks to 12-4 Win Over Angel Kitties
Yoshimitsu Abe impressed in the 12-4 Long Island win over Bethlehem. Abe, who is tied for 8th in the 3A- in triples with 2, went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 4 times and drove in 4. Tamotsu Mizuno picked up the win, lifting his record to 2-7 on the season. He struck out 6 and walked 2 in 8.1 innings, while yielding 4 runs. Long Island's record now stands at 27-23, placing them 4th in the Menard's Low A.

Abe contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Long Island in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Abe took a slider from Ed Lemay and stroked the home run to left. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Ducks to leap in front, 2-1.
