The exploits of left fielder Pedro Miranda, who is tied for 6th in the 3A- in runs scored with 31, helped the Long Island Ducks defeat the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 14-0. Miranda went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs. Long Island now sits at 28-23, while Bethlehem falls to 21-30.

The Ducks got an important contribution from third baseman Kelvin Sullivan, who in the bottom of the eighth hit a 1-1 curveball to left for a bases-clearing double. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Ducks ahead, 13-0.

"Well, that ended badly," said losing manager Zach Stafford.
