The Flint Crush claimed a close win over the Napanee Express, due in large part to Álex Canseco. The Flint right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-0 win. Canseco picked up the win for Flint, going 8 innings. He gave up no runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 6-0. Ken Leach wrapped it up, recording his 16th save.

Flint used a well-timed hit by Pedro Esparza to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Crush ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Álex did a nice job," said Crush manager Michael Woodard.

Flint is now 35-16.
