|
Starting pitcher Mike Sherman was a major factor in the 3-0 Memphis Music triumph over the North Ft. Myers Gators. Jack White picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Carlitos Laboro suffered the loss. Dave McIntyre sewed up the save, his 8th.
Memphis took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Reggie Aarsen hit a clutch 3-run home run to bring Music fans to their feet.
"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Aarsen.
