Victor Griffin pitched a gem to lead Napanee to victory over the Long Island Ducks, 2-1. Scott Bates earned his 12th save, after closing out the game. The win for the Express raised their record to 28-25.

Napanee used a clutch at-bat from Bernard Thomas to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Express ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
