Long Island left fielder Eric Hall contributed significantly to his team's 5-1 win over the Las Vegas Flamingos. Hall, who is tied for 6th in the SL in runs scored with 32, went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Lighthouse. With the win, Long Island raised its record to 30-19.

The Lighthouse ran into trouble in the top of the third. The score was 2-1, Long Island, with two out. Las Vegas, with runners on 1st and 3rd, had Hugh Kneecorn at the plate. With a base hit, he could have changed the complexion of the game. Instead, he flied out and the Lighthouse went on to win.
