With Late Score, Baby Blues Beat Gators
The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

The inspired effort of North Ft. Myers left fielder Juan Díaz was not enough to prevent a loss, 3-2, to the Quebec City Baby Blues. Díaz belted 2 home runs. The win went to Harald Berendsen in relief. His record improves to 4-1. John Christensen took the loss.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Manuel Pueblo in the bottom of the 11th. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 18-year old right-handed pitcher John Christensen to win it for Quebec City and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Baby Blues manager Mauro Rangel.

The Baby Blues saw their record improve to 27-29.
