The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish and starting pitcher Logan Waycott stifled the Ellesmere Island offense en route to a comfortable 10-2 win at The Igloo. Waycott got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 3 over 8.2 innings. Waycott allowed 2 runs. The Puffer Fish, now 25-31, have won 4 in a row.
Plattsburgh used the bat of Félix Pacheco to capture the win. The third baseman jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Puffer Fish ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
