Hamm Impresses as Gators Knock Off Baby Blues, 3-0

North Ft. Myers took on Quebec City in front of a lively crowd.
In a low-scoring affair between the North Ft. Myers Gators and the Quebec City Baby Blues, pitcher Chris Hamm was the difference between victory and defeat. The North Ft. Myers right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-0 Gators win. John Christensen earned the save for North Ft. Myers, his 9th of the year.
North Ft. Myers starter Chris Hamm pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"Bottom line," said Quebec City skipper Mauro Rangel, "we didn't play well enough to win."
At 26-31, the Gators find themselves in 8th place in the Menard's Low A.
