7-1 Win Gets Hudsonville to 34-24
|
The Hudsonville Flanderses took on the Napanee Express at Paints Ballpark.
Jesús Bojórquez, who leads the 3A- in complete games with 1, had a strong outing for the Hudsonville Flanderses against the Napanee Express at Paints Ballpark. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 7-1 win. The Express, now 20-38, have lost 5 straight.
Richello Sison had a big 2-run double for the Flanderses in the top of the first inning. With Hudsonville leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a curveball from Richie Ayala, who is rated as the 74th best prospect by BNN, and swatted a double to left. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Flanderses ahead, 4-0.
Said losing manager Dan Bond: "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."
