Martínez goes 3-for-4 to Power Octopi Offense
The Ogallala Octopi trumped the North Ft. Myers Gators, 12-6, at Dodge Field. Ogallala third baseman António Martínez was terrific. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs. The 6th-place Octopi have a record of 30-29.

The Octopi got a lift from left fielder Luis Rodríguez, who in the top of the third stroked a 0-1 fastball to left-center for a run-scoring single. It was his 37th hit of the season and put the Octopi ahead, 6-4.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Octopi manager Dewitt Hopper.
