The Quebec City Baby Blues beat the Greenport Harbor Whales, 6-2, at Ballpark of Robbins. The Baby Blues got a fine performance from right fielder Ray Gunn, who went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Reliever Denny Springer picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Xiao-peng Le took the loss. Justin Lake collected save number 2.

With one out in the top of the seventh, Manuel Pueblo had a game-changing hit. The Baby Blues left fielder slammed a run-scoring single off Xiao-peng Le, making the score 4-2, Quebec City.

Quebec City manager Mauro Rangel called it "a pretty good win."

The 8th-place Baby Blues lifted their record to 29-33.
