Mason Leads Puffer Fish to 9-1 Win Over Angel Kitties
|
A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Nick Mason led the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish to a win over the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 9-1. Patches Magickbeans, who is tied for 10th in the 3A- in wins with 6, was the winner. He's now 6-0. The loser was James Carpenter. Plattsburgh has now won 8 in a row.
Ekata Sasthi cracked a home run off James Carpenter in the top of the first. His 3-run blast put the Puffer Fish on top, 3-0. In all, Sasthi had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
"That's what makes it fun -- everybody's jacked up because of the way we've been winning," said Plattsburgh manager Allen Carlson.
