The Flint Crush clipped the Ladue Rams, 6-5, in 10 innings at Ballpark of Wellsville. The standout performance belonged to Flint pitcher and Jackson, Mississippi, native Clifford Knight. Flint reliever Ken Leach picked up the win, upping his record to 1-3. Ronnie Palmer was saddled with the loss. The Flint win streak is now 3 games.

Flint used a timely hit from Chi-young Yuen to get the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Crush ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"It was a solid team effort," said Knight after the game.
