Greenport Rallies for 7-5 Win

Greenport and Napanee duked it out and the Harbor Whales came out victorious.
The Greenport Harbor Whales bumped off the Napanee Express, 7-5, at Paints Ballpark. António Medina hit 1 single and 2 doubles. He also had 2 RBI. Greenport reliever Raúl López picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Scott Bates absorbed the loss.
The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Medina delivered big-time for Greenport, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Scott Bates. The game-changing hit put the Harbor Whales on top, 6-5.
"It never gets old," said Medina. "Winning, that is."
The Harbor Whales improved to 37-27.
