Harbor Whales Deal Canucks 5-2 Loss
|
The Greenport Harbor Whales topped the Moose Jaw Canucks, 5-2, in M3L Low A action at Foresters Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Greenport pitcher Dan McFarland. The 4th-place Harbor Whales now have a record of 37-27.
It could have been a different outcome for Greenport, had it not been for Bruno Reardon, the 18-year old catcher . Reardon contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Greenport up, 3-2.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Reardon.
