The Flint Crush and Ladue Rams left the fans buzzing.
The Ladue Rams defeated the Flint Crush, 6-3, in M3L Low A action at Ballpark of Wellsville. Ladue pitcher Juan Sánchez had a standout performance. Sánchez got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 2 hits and walked 0 over 5.2 innings. He allowed no runs.
The Crush had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Rams going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 20-year old third baseman Brandon Hart came to the plate. Hart hit a 2-run double on a 0-1 fastball from Flint hurler Armando Guzmán. It was Hart's 6th double of the year.
"Nice win for us," said Hart. "Now we'll go after the next one."
Ladue, at 27-38, sits in 11th place in the Menard's Low A.
