The Ladue Rams took on the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople at Ballpark of Wellsville.
The Ladue Rams powered past the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 8-6, at Ballpark of Wellsville. Ramón Cora went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3, to lead the charge. Ladue is now 32-33. Ellesmere Island is 34-31.
With Ladue leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Cora hit a fastball from Leonard Ramírez for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Rams ahead, 5-0.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Cora told the Ladue News.
