The Napanee Express got a sterling performance from pitcher Beau Davis, but the Quebec City Baby Blues still prevailed, 3-2. Davis threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Kenzo Suzuki earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record is now 2-0. With the victory, the Baby Blues record stands at 30-35.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Express allowed the Baby Blues to score the winning run.
