A 4-RBI performance from the 19-year old right fielder Don Prince helped the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople beat the North Ft. Myers Gators, 7-4. Bob Ryan, the winning pitcher, improved to 8-3. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 7 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The loss makes North Ft. Myers 29-36.

Prince had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a full count fastball from Adam Fossnes, he banged a grand slam home run to right-center, giving the Snowpeople a 7-4 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Prince.

"I felt good up there," said Prince. "I saw the ball well."
