Baby Blues Stick Gators with 2-0 Loss

Dylan Park hosted a real pitchers' duel.
Quebec City got a first-rate effort from pitcher Archie Minet, who frustrated North Ft. Myers hitters en route to a 2-0 Baby Blues triumph at Dylan Park. Minet yielded no runs over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-2. Carl van Bekenes finished to wrap up his 9th save.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Júlio Migueles didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and North Ft. Myers trailing 1-0, Migueles retired Wan-fu Yong to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Migueles, with a wink.
The Gators, at 29-37, have lost 5 straight games.
