Ducks Take Down Canucks, 2-1
|
Foresters Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Moose Jaw Canucks and Long Island Ducks.
Starting pitcher Jing-quo Hark gave the Long Island Ducks a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Moose Jaw Canucks, 2-1, at Foresters Stadium. The Ducks saw their win-loss record go to 32-34. At the same time, the Canucks fell to 35-31.
Long Island grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Ewan Sowerbutts delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1, in favor of the Ducks.
"Tough loss," said Moose Jaw manager Ismael Barrios. "Tough one to swallow."
