Morrison Stars for Harbor Whales in 7-4 Win
Will Morrison was instrumental in his team's 7-4 triumph over the Bompton Baby Lakers. The third baseman went 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Greenport Harbor Whales. Tom McKerchar got the save, the 4th for him this season. The Harbor Whales improved to a lofty 51-16.

Greenport used the bat of Don Thomas to capture the win. The left fielder jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Harbor Whales ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Morrison.
