O'Nunan Excels in 9-2 Long Island Win
The Long Island Ducks knocked off the North Ft. Myers Gators, 9-2, at Ducks Park. Bergin O'Nunan was a big reason Long Island won. The left fielder was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The Ducks now have a record of 37-31 with the win over North Ft. Myers.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Ducks grabbed the lead when O'Nunan hit his 8th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Octávio Gutiérrez made it 5-1, Long Island.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," O'Nunan told the Long Island Today.
